Academy Breakfasts
Every morning, from 07:45 until 08:15 we offer free breakfast to any and all students. At Oasis Academy Leesbrook, we are committed to ensuring that no child is too hungry to learn and has the energy required to focus on their learning throughout the day.
A selection of Hot Bagels and Toast is available in our Academies dining hall, across from the student entrance.
Academy Lunches
At Oasis Academy Leesbrook, we operate on a family dining approach to lunches, where students sit together and eat together as a family. This not only helps our young people to make friends across year groups and to feel the benefits of being part of the oasis family, but also promotes conversation and confidence building interaction.
At lunchtime we encourage children to have an Academy meal. These are cooked on site and are nutritionally balanced. We always offer a choice including vegetarian and Halal - menus are available to view to the right. Lunch costs £2.40 per day; this will pay for our ‘Family Dining’ experience. Students entitled to free school meals do not pay for lunch.
Students must choose to receive an Academy meal or bring in a packed lunch and must continue with that choice for at least one term. Unfortunately, due to our family dining approach, students are not permitted to change between an Academy meal and a packed lunch on a daily/weekly basis. If a student would like to change their preference after one term, they must inform reception to make sure MCAS charges accordingly.
**There are water fountains to top up water located around the Academy.
