At Oasis Academy Leesbrook, we operate on a family dining approach to lunches, where students sit together and eat together as a family. This not only helps our young people to make friends across year groups and to feel the benefits of being part of the oasis family, but also promotes conversation and confidence building interaction.
At lunchtime we encourage children to have an Academy meal. These are cooked on site and are nutritionally balanced. We always offer a choice including vegetarian and Halal - menus are available to view here. Lunch costs £2.25 per day; this will pay for our ‘Family Dining’ experience. Students entitled to free school meals do not pay for lunch.

Alternatively children may bring a packed lunch. We ask parents and carers providing packed lunches to choose healthy options with a balanced selection of food including fruit and vegetables, juice and/or water. We do not permit sweets in packed lunches. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle* to school each day which can be refilled at our fountains. We do not allow energy drinks to be brought into the Academy.
Students must choose to receive an Academy meal or bring in a packed lunch and must continue with that choice for at least one term. Unfortunately, due to our family dining approach, students are not permitted to change between an Academy meal and a packed lunch on a daily/weekly basis. If a student would like to change their preference after one term, they must inform Mrs Dean on reception to make sure ParentPay charges accordingly.
*Plastic bottles may be purchased from Mrs Murphy and must be used to store water for the day. There are water fountains to top up water located around the Academy.
