Information for new starters
For students joining us within the school year
When you get your place at Oasis Academy Leesbrook, you will first be called in for an admissions meeting. This is an opportunity for the admissions team to meet you and your child, discuss any concerns you have and for you to complete our admissions form.
Once the admissions meeting has taken place, your child will then be invited in for a tour of the academy. Here your child will be shown around the academy including meeting their Head of Year or the Pastoral Team, they will be shown where to find our social spaces such as dining hall and will get to see some of our facilities!
After this, your child's first day will be agreed. On this day, your child will be taken to family time where they will be introduced to their family leader and their buddy. This is someone that your child's year group Pastoral Team believe will be able to help your child transition into Leesbrook and help them in their first days. Your child will also be placed into the relevant academic groups for their subjects.
Uniform and Equipment
Your child will need to be fully equipped and ready for their first day.
