International Women's Day

On Friday, to celebrate International Women’s Day, Miss Ablett and the Year 9 Positive Masculinity Ambassadors ran a stall during lunchtimes where students could write thank you messages to female staff members.

Students took the opportunity to show their appreciation for the women who support, teach and inspire them every day. The response was incredible, with over 1,000 messages written by students across the academy.

These were then hand delivered to staff before the end of the school day, spreading appreciation across the academy and recognising the important contribution of women in our school community.
