All year 9 are invited to the live ReadThrough theatre performance of Romeo and Juliet on Thursday 11th March from 4pm until 6pm. The performance features award winning and globally acclaimed actors such as Simon Callow and will be broadcast to all Leesbrook year 9s free of charge via a private YouTube link that will be sent out on the day of the performance. Students can watch the play in the comfort of their own homes on their mobile devices, laptops or tablets. Be sure to log on and take advantage of this opportunity- particularly as the final assessment for Romeo and Juliet will be the following week. This could be your final chance to see the play before your exam- don’t miss out!

On Thursday 18th March students in 7A will be experiencing ‘Dreams’, the new interactive theatre experience broadcast live by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Dreams focuses on the fairies from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, led by the mischievous Puck, and gives students the opportunity to explore the play in a new way. The performance is free to 7A students and will be broadcast during their timetabled English lesson on the day.
