Positive Steps are delivering a ‘Step Into Your Future’, an offer for Year 11 students who may find the transition to Post 16 more challenging than others and may not yet be in the right space, emotionally or mentally, to be able to engage in existing activities.
The offer will include lots of personal development opportunities which will help build emotional resilience and wellbeing, in addition to careers information ensuring that young people can feel hopeful and positive about their futures.
What will young people get from the programme?
· An improved sense of wellbeing and feel more confident and optimistic about their future
· An increase in attainment, attendance and positive behaviours.
· An increase in engagement and participation of young people in post 16 EET.
