Stop The Bleed Day!
Following on from their assembly with Alison Cope around knife crime and violence, all Year 7 took part in the national 'Stop the Bleed' day.
The day aims to train up as many young people in Years 6 and 7 as possible with life-saving skills in the event of a serious bleed. Year 7's learnt how to control a serious bleed, support someone in shock, and contact emergency services.
The students thoroughly enjoyed the day, so much so it is already booked for our soon-to-be Year 7's next year!
