End of HT4, Headteachers Address

On Friday 13th March, a group of Leesbrook students took part in the Senior National Reading Champions Quiz, competing against schools from across Greater Manchester and Merseyside and putting their literary knowledge to the test.

On Friday, to celebrate International Women’s Day, Miss Ablett and the Year 9 Positive Masculinity Ambassadors ran a stall during lunchtimes where students could write thank you messages to female staff members.
 

Yesterday, we were proud to host our second annual Iftar at Oasis Academy Leesbrook, welcoming more than 300 students, families, staff and members of the wider community for a special evening together.

Last Tuesday, our Year 10 students attended the JD Up careers event at Manchester’s Central Convention Complex.

Our MFL department recently took a group of students to the Etihad Stadium to explore how valuable languages are beyond the classroom.
